Most of these images were captured digitally with either a Pentax ist D, Pentax K10,Konica Minolta Dimage A200 and recently the Pansonic Lumix GX8. A few are scans of 35mm Ektachrome slides.

My work with conservation groups in upstate South Carolina has enabled me to meet a diversified group of environmentalists including professional photographers, botanists, biologists, geologists, agronomists, and landscape architects. Also, I have worked on conservation projects with the US Forest Service, SC Dept of Natural Resources, SC Parks, Recreation and Tourism personnel and The Nature Conservancy.These contacts have increased my appreciation and understanding of the natural beauty of the Carolinas and surrounding states.

I live on 6 acres in eastern Greenville(SC) County bordering Rocky Creek, a tributary of the Enoree River. I am a member of the following non profit conservation organizaions: South Carolina Native Plant Societ, South Carolina Wildlife Federation,the Nature Conservancy, Save Our Saludas, the Audubon Society and Upstate Forever.
