Marsh Fork Elementary sits 400 yds downslope from a mountaintop removal site and a sludge impoundment holding nearly 2 billion gal. of toxic coal sludge. Massey Energy has placed a 185 ft coal storage silo directly adjacent to the school boundary spewing coal dust toward the school.
